Kismet Kids Learning Centre

Invest in your child’s future by exposing them to the enriching experience of farm life in our nature lead Learning Centre. Studies have shown that exposure to farm animals can boost children's immune systems, fostering both physical and emotional well-being. Through hands-on learning and daily interactions with farm animals, your child will develop compassion, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Learning Centre Details

Start Date: Monday, October, 7, 2024

End Date: Thursday, May 29, 2025

(Holidays will be in line with Hanover School Division)

Days: Mon & Wed OR Tues & Thurs

Time: 9:00 - 11:30am

Participant Ages: 3-5 years

Cost: $775 for 31 weeks ($12.50/day)

(Mon/Wed group will be $737.50 due to holiday Mondays)

Our Program Includes

Play Based Learning

Participation in animal chores, sheep shearing, farrier work with horses, hoof trimming for goats, and honey bee education

Daily Animal Exposure

Lots of time spent outside interacting, caring for and snuggling with our sanctuary farmily members

The Animal - Person Connection

Lessons on caring for animals and understanding how they care for us

Backyard Field Trips

Exploring the wooded areas, pond, and marsh on our property, wagon rides, and enjoying visits and presentations from other local farmers

Fitness Activities

Intentional movement, including obstacle course challenges, hay bale climbing, group walks, farm yard bike rides, and more
